  • Gallop NYC has created New York City's first full-time therapeutic riding program. Community-based and volunteer-supported, Gallop NYC offers horse-centered therapies to a diverse group of adults and children who have physical, cognitive, psychological, and educational challenges.   • Prospect Park is, of course, where Kensington Stables is located. It is one of New York's most beautiful parks with lots of things to do and interesting landmarks to see. Their website has a full calendar of events and related information. http://www.prospectpark.org/
     
  • The East Windsor Terrace Community Group (EWTCG) was formed to make its community board (CB7) and the city administration aware of the concerns of the people residing in the area and their opposition to unchecked high-rise development of a unique area near to Prospect Park. Their frequently-updated website is at http://www.stablebrooklyn.com, along with instructions for joining their active email list.
     
  • Scire Construction Corporation is the Brooklyn company renovating the exterior of the Kensington Stables barn. See http://scirebuilders.org for more information.
